Show & Tellmy workplace: the Singapore American School
It may be hidden in some dodgy area in woodlands, it may not have views of the bay but I think my workplace is in a class of it's own. If
I, a lowly intern, am relishing in luxuries that other full-time staff in large MNCs can only dream of; it is needless to say it pays to work in this suburban paradise...
(above)this is my desk.. a bit stark looking cos I just moved here in mid June..below is a pic of my first desk
I think I may be the only intern whose desk gets less messy overtime... pantry down under
The pantry comes equipped with a mini library of US weekly & People magazines for light lunch time reading and may even be fully stocked--during the school term-- with muffins, cakes, chocolate frosted donuts and other sinful delights...

I absolutely love, love, love the art pieces scattered through the school, they are mostly interesting lesser known ones but I have actually chanced upon replicas of portraits by vincent van Gogh and renaissance works like the birth of venus.. also art pieces come with little write ups about its history & the artist--reminiscence of an art museum..below are various pieces/murals done by students

If you like what you see..check out http://www.sas.edu.sg/gallery/schvideos.html (the primary sch and why work in SG videos are my personal favorites) and get a feel of what a 5-figure tuition fee buys you/your child..
not quite the happy gelato stained postcard.
